A tank endorsement is also required for Class C vehicles when the vehicle is used to transport hazardous materials in liquid or gas form in the above described rated tanks.

Being the driver of a commercial vehicle is a huge responsibility. The written CDL test isn’t that bad. The actual driving test is rigorous. Inspectors do not want anyone on the road who isn’t capable of handling a big rig. Make sure you practice your driving and especially BACKING UP.
Congratulations on your decision to become a commercial driver!
